Episode #24-Developing an Open & Honest Relationship with your Children–In Order to Rescue Them

Episode 24:

This critical episode is focused on helping you develop an open and honest relationship with your teens so that if and when they ever get in trouble, they will come to you.  Isn’t that what you want?  Isn’t that what we all wan– for our children to come to us, regardless of the circumstance, so that we can council with them and help them when they are in crises? Even if you only have little ones right now, your ability to have an open and honest relationship with your teens begin when they are very young.

I meet too many parents who have raised children, teaching them the importance of impeccable character and having modeled and taught conservative, God honoring principles in the home, but then are shocked and bewildered when they learn that their children have made choices different than how they were taught.  Too often, parents don’t learn of these choices until it has gone on, sometimes for way too long.

Please listen to today’s episode, with a desire to prayerfully consider how you can create a relationship with your children that is open, honest, loving, non-judgmental, yet God honoring, so that your children will know that you are a safe place to come.  Our youth today are struggling like never before to stay on the path.  Some will for sure fall off, but as we know and as we believe and teach in the saving grace of Jesus Christ, no one strays too far from the path that prevents them from coming back.  It’s just not possible.

Thank you for listening.  Thank you for your continued effort to be the best parents you can be.  We are in this together.  I am pulling for you and praying for you every day.
